Ellik Willem Swart
Ellik Willem Swart founded Laboured SA to deliver the kind of expert-driven, employer-focused labour law support that South African businesses have long needed. With a BCom Law degree as his foundation, Ellik began his career in general legal practice in 2010 — quickly focusing on labour and employment law.
In 2014, he was appointed as a Part-Time Commissioner with the CCMA and various Bargaining Councils, a role he held through to 2024. This decade of service on the other side of the table gives Laboured SA clients a distinct strategic advantage — an adviser who understands exactly how dispute resolution authorities think, evaluate, and decide.
