- Employment and contracts (7 documents): letter of appointment, permanent, fixed-term and casual contracts, amendment of terms by agreement, employee personal information form and POPIA consent. Each contract includes the required BCEA particulars and a minimum-wage check.
- Company policies (13 policies): including POPIA, leave, attendance and punctuality, absenteeism, alcohol and drugs, harassment, grievance, cell phone, e-mail and internet, company vehicle, HIV/AIDS, smoking, and occupational health and safety. Your data stays with you
The toolkit saves your business details, employees and documents on your own device, in your browser. Laboured South Africa does not store your employee information. This keeps your data private and supports your POPIA compliance.
Important: because your information is stored on your device, it will be lost if you clear your browser data, change computers or use a different browser. Use the Save file option in the toolkit regularly to keep a backup copy.
About Laboured South Africa
Laboured South Africa is an employer-side labour law and industrial relations consultancy operating in KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and Limpopo. It was founded in 2023 by Ellik Swart, who served as a part-time CCMA Commissioner from 2014 to 2024 and holds a BCom Law degree and ADR Network South Africa mediation certification. Silver terms
- Fee: R10,000.00 once-off, payable upfront.
- Access period: 12 months from the date your access is activated.
- Assistance: telephone and email assistance, subject to fair usage.
- Not included: disciplinary hearings and CCMA or bargaining council representation. These are available from Laboured South Africa at our standard rates.
- Access: the toolkit is available only through your login on laboured.org.za during your access period. It may not be copied, shared or used by anyone outside your business.
- Data: your toolkit data is stored on your own device. You are responsible for keeping backups.
- VAT: Laboured South Africa is not VAT-registered and no VAT is charged. If Laboured South Africa registers for VAT in future, VAT will be added from the date of registration.
- General: the toolkit and our advice support your decisions as an employer. Final decisions on your business and employees remain yours.
